Seller Hack – Decluttering
Today we have a seller hack for you on decluttering the home. This may seem like a tall order if you’ve lived in your home for a long time which is why we’re going to recommend that you start small. Find a small room or space that you can easily handle and understand that over time, the small victories will add up. Next, we want to use the three box method. We wnat to have a box for items you intend to keep, items that you intend to donate or sell, and items that you intended to discard. Next, furniture; get rid of extra furniture and free up space to allow things flow more naturally. Don’t forget about bookshelves. Extra books and personal items can be removed and streamlined. Next, let’s conceal daily items like toiletries, pet food, and laundry, all need to be out of sight. Next let’s consider using storage bins and baskets to clean up those closets to make them look more organized. And finally those final touches. Things like flowers and candles and candies can all make the house sparkle.
