60 Seconds On Selling a Home Part 12 – Closing Day

Today is our final video in our series on selling a home. Congratulations! We have reached close day! 

So normally title companies will host closing. We will show up at the predetermined day and time at the title company. First, they are going to take a picture of your photo ID. Then they’re going to lead us all into a room. 

The people in the room will be of course the buyer and the seller, their agents, sometimes the lender will show up on behalf of the buyer, and then of course the title company agent. The title company agent will sit down and they’re going to pull out all the documents and they’re going to go over all the numbers with everybody. They’re going to get signatures that are required. 

At some point, when all that is done, the title rep will go out of the room and get copies for everybody. During that time, buyer and seller can talk and swap stories, get to know each other a little bit, and of course exchange keys.
