Today we’re discussing the importance of location in real estate. Here are five things to consider when purchasing a home.
First, amenities: where are you in relation to restaurants, shopping, entertainment, parks, and school systems?
School systems are very important to most homebuyers, even if you don’t have children—think about resale value.
Next, safety: what is the access to emergency services, lighting in the neighborhood, and neighborhood watch programs?
Then, consider new development: are there any new developments coming in, and how do you feel about those developments in relation to your neighborhood?
Finally, natural surroundings: are you in a rural area, or near ponds or lakes? These are all important factors to consider.
The importance of location in real estate cannote be overstated.
