Before the banners, the championships, and the worldwide fame, Larry Bird was simply a kid growing up in French Lick, Indiana. It is a small southern Indiana town best known for its rolling hills, tight-knit community, and a work ethic that runs deep. That environment helped shape one of the greatest basketball players the game has ever seen.
