Mortgage Rates are On The Move!

This week, our lending partners are reporting conventional 30-year fixed rates as low as 6.3%, and FHA loans dipping to around 5.4%. That’s a welcome shift, especially for buyers who’ve been sitting on the fence. It also opens the door for homeowners who purchased in the past year at rates in the 7’s — refinancing might now make sense. But don’t wait too long. The last time we saw a dip like this, rates shot back up toward 7% almost overnight. With mixed signals in the economy, now really is the right time to make your move.
